Considering Sirius is dead, and Remus must move on, Remus/Tonks is in no way a threat to your ship. You can ship both because R/T didn't happen until Sirius was dead.

This is excellent--I have actually been wondering WHY R/T hasn't bothered me much, and aside from the obviousness of the fact that I'm just not as involved in fandom and shipping as I once was, the post you linked nails it on the head. It's not like you are allowed one romantic relationship in your whole life ever and once you spend it, anything new cancels it out. R/T and R/S can coexist peacefully in canon, if that's what JKR wants. I mean, you don't just sweep away three books of subtext with one line about holding hands. ;)

Oh wow! That was amazing. I agree completely, the cannon is still there to support it even though Tonks is thrown into the mix. It's so good to see you happy my love ♥
